Leslie Peters, President/CEO

Leslie Peters, President & CEO of Metro Aerospace, brings more than 20 years of executive leadership structuring and executing mission critical business strategies in fast-paced, global marketplaces, with a strong track record of achieving business outcomes.  Her key strengths are strategy creation and execution, business development, manufacturing operations, pre and post-acquisition/divestiture structuring, and complex contract negotiations.  She has a proven track record of leading highly charged global sales and operational teams, for both small and large organizations, developing controls to improve profitability and increase revenue while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Most recently Leslie held positions as Vice President of Business Development and Chief Information Officer for the Dynamic Precision Group, a Carlyle owned Aerospace parts manufacturing company. Prior to working with the Dynamic Precision Group, Leslie held various roles in both operations and business development with companies such as Hewlett-Packard, T-Systems, and Perot Systems Corporation. Leslie’s career has centered on leadership in manufacturing-related industries including automotive and aerospace, where she built strategic relationships with customers such as BMW, Daimler, Ericsson, GE, Ford Motor, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, TRW, UTC, and the Volkswagen Group.

Leslie holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Electrical/Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, as well as, Business Administration from Arizona State University.

R. Damon Ward, Executive Chairman

R. Damon Ward, Executive Chairman of Metro Aerospace, is a veteran business leader with over 30 years of experience founding quality companies, scaling them quickly, and exiting successfully.  He has built a reputation as an expert and an adviser of flight related matters from his success as an aerospace executive and pilot of both fixed wing and rotorcraft vehicles.  Damon most recently held the position of CEO at Business Air, a corporate aircraft charter and management company he founded in 2001.  While there, Damon drove the company toward its strategic goal of growth and profitability, developed and implemented business growth strategies, and mentored executive management team members.  Prior to Business Air, Damon held Executive Vice President and General Manager positions within the aviation industry.

Damon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University – Commerce.  He also maintains a commercial pilot license.
